Coldplay "Life in Technicolour ii"

Coldplay "Life in Technicolour ii":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnaY4bFL8I4

I chose this music video to talk analyse as it is very unique. In this shot it shows families walking into the village hall to watch a Punch and Judy show. However, once the puppet show is over, the puppet version of Coldplay takes the stage and starts playing one of their songs.

I like the originality of this video as there are no others like this that I can think of off the top of my head.

As the video progresses, the small stage transforms into a mini festival as bigger amps and lighting are brought on stage by puppet technicians and crew.

I like the way in which the creators of this video have thought about every little detail of a music festival and put it into the puppet version. For example pyrotechnics are used, which feature at some festivals, as well as puppet lighting and sound crew (pictured below).

The music video also features the lead singer doing a "stage dive" into the stunned audience of children. I like this  as every part of the video is what happens at music festivals, but instead of being on a 1/1 scale, it is on a puppet one.
